The Culinary Institute of the Pacific (CIP) is a network of seven unique culinary education centers within the University of Hawaii system, located on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, and Kauai.  The Mission of the CIP is to offer to Hawaii and the global community career, technical, cultural, and culinary education and training.  The premier CIP center on Oahu is located at the Kapi'olani Community College, nestled on the slopes of Diamond Head overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Waikiki.  Accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF), the Kapi'olani campus offers a world-class learning environment that includes 10 instructional kitchens, a 130 seat demonstration auditorium, as well as on campus restaurants and banquet rooms.  The CIP's culinary education program excels in blending the techniques, traditions, and influences of Asia and the Pacific with the classical styles of Europe and American regional cuisine.  The Institute's faculty is composed of award winning chefs, and food and beverage experts, many of whom are graduates of the Culinary Institute of America, Le Cordon Bleu, Johnson and Wales, and the Kapi'olani Community College.
