Kapi`olani Community College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, www.accjc.org, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

Accreditation has been granted by the Accrediting Commission of the American Culinary Federation Educational Institute for the Kapi`olani Food Service, Patisserie, and Culinary Arts programs.
